Fans prank Rangers veteran after eliminating the Hurricanes in game 6
Chris kreider carried the New York Rangers on his back in the third period of game 6, coming in late with a natural hat trick to secure a 5-3 victory over the Hurricanes, send the Rangers to the eastern conference finals.
However, following the conclusion of Game six, Kreider found an unexpected surprise waiting for him when he got to his home in New York. After getting his hat trick, his neighbours decided to cover his front lawn with hats, to honour such an amazing performance.
What looks like to be one of Kreider's neighbours even managed to get a picture of him cleaning up the mess of hats.
