Former New York Rangers Tyler Pitlick and veteran NHL forward has officially signed with the Boston Bruins.
Earlier today, the Boston Bruins AHL affiliate team, the Providence Bruins have announced the signing of Tyler Pitlick.
Pitlick has officially signed with the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League to a contract for the remainder of the year after joining the team on professional tryout contract(PTO).
The 33-year old veteran has been off to great start with the Providence Bruins after signing his professional tryout contract as he is currently tied for second on the team with goals and third third for points on the team within just 15 games played.
Pitlick currently has 5 goals, 11 points and is a plus-5 on the year and also has 22 penalty minutes for the Providence Bruins.
The 33-year old has played 420 career games in the NHL with multiple different organizations including the New York Rangers, Edmonton Oilers, Philadelphia Flyers, Arizona Coyotes, Calgary Flames, Montreal Canadiens, and St. Louis Blues.
During his 420 games in the NHL he only put up four points with the Rangers (1G, 3A) and has a total of 56 career goals, along with 53 career assists for 109 career points.
