Former Rangers legend releases massive career announcement

Former New York Rangers legend, Mark Messier has signed a new, multi-year contract extension with ESPN.

In a statement released by the ESPN PR's, the six time Stanley Cup champion and Hockey Hall of Famer will extend his career with the network as an NHL studio and in-game analyst.

"Mark Messier brings such depth and insight to our hockey coverage, and truly embodies what it means to be the ultimate team player. As a first-ballot Hockey Hall of Famer with six Stanley Cups, he's been a tremendous addition to our studio coverage, and we're thrilled to reach a contract extension with a true NHL legend."

Messier joined the ESPN network back in January, 2021 and has since been a fan favourite alongside Steve Levy and PK Subban. However full details on Messier's contact extension with ESPN not made available.
