Major announcement regarding Utah Hockey Club's official name
A significant announcement was made regarding the Utah's new official name with the NHL and they're terrible.
With the Arizona Coyotes now relocated to Utah there has been tons of speculation on what the team name should be, now we finally have some insight on what it could be.
NHL insider Chris Johnston, released that the organization has narrowed it down to six finalist names for the Utah Hockey Club' and frankly they're quite terrible.
The final names they have settled with are Blizzard, Hockey Club, Mammoth, Outlaws, Venom, and Yeti.
After garnering 520,000 fan votes, Utah's NHL team is down to six possible team names:
Utah Blizzard
Utah Hockey Club (Utah HC)
Utah Mammoth
Utah Outlaws
Utah Venom
Utah Yeti»

Regardless of these name suggestions it seems like the Utah team will stick with the colour scheme of black, blue and white, but nothing has been finalized so only time will tell.
It is reported that the team will officially reveal their jerseys during the NHL Draft this year that will be held on June 28th.
