Head Coach States The Obvious On Saturday's Loss
Peter Laviolette, head coach of the New York Rangers, gives us some feedback on what went wrong for the team on Saturday night's 5-3 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Of course, the biggest issue to harp here is the fallibility of this team when defenseman, Ryan Lindgren, is not on the ice, and why his injuries seem to turn the Rangers into a shell of themselves defensively.
Any team will struggle a little when a top pairing defenseman is out, but it seems to be exaggerated for the blueshirts.
Regardless if he is out on the ice or not tonight, the Rangers will need to be better able to manage Ryan Lindgren's injuries throughout the season, if they hope to make a deep run in the playoffs.
The Rangers will play the Arizona Coyotes tonight, in their home season opener, in Madison Square Garden!
