The Rangers' four games into the season, does not elicit a team many would think would be contending for the Stanley Cup this year.

They have struggled in three out of four games to teams that missed the playoffs completely last year, and not really expected to contend this year either.

It doesn't help that the Patrick Kane reunion and savior of the Rangers' is getting played up a bit on X.

But there are still 78 games left into the season. We only just begun and it's going to be a long season, there's plenty of time for them to right the ship.

Head coach, Peter Laviolette, has a very different way of how he operates and coaches a team compared to former head coach, Gerard Gallant.

Take a look at Laviolette's last three teams he coaches in his first 10 games with them.

With the exception of the Nashville Predators, the teams don't have a good record to start the season.

Things can change with time, and there will be a couple more ugly losses like this that'll discourage us. But we can't lose faith with the team.

Last time the Rangers made the Finals, they also had a rough start. It's not too late to turn things around and soon enter a hot streak.

They will be one of the eight teams in the Eastern conference to make the playoffs. It's what they do in the playoffs they should be judged on.

The Rangers' will next play against the Seattle Kraken, Saturday, October 21, at Climate Pledge Arena, in Seattle.
