Over the past couple of games, general manager Pat Verbeek of the Anaheim Ducks has been seen quite often around the Rangers organization as he has scouted several games along with much of his staff.

Usually when a general manager is at the games it means that a potential deal may be in the works.

It seems the focus is centering around Adam Henrique and Frank Vatrano.

According to Larry brooks of the New York Post, there's a strong possibility that Kappo Kaako could be used as part of the package to land both players.

It would certainly be tough to watch one of the first overall picks be traded for a third liner in a winger, but it's clear that the Rangers seem to be willing to move on from Kaako as they would like to protect their first round pick this year along with Gabe Perreault who is leading the NCAA now.

The 34-year-old Henrique has played 57 games, scored sixteen goals with 22 assists for 38 points and is a - 2.

Vatrano, has played 58 games, scored 26 goals with 19 assists for 45 points.

It's safe to say both these players would help the Rangers and certainly needs to be looked at thoroughly prior to making the deal.
