The New York Rangers are desperately in need of making a change.
Well, Brian La Rose, an MHL analyst at Pro Hockey Rumors did a mailbag article. One user offered a simple, straight up, one-for-one trade.
The user suggested the Rangers and Toronto Maple Leafs swapping Artemi Panarin and Mitch Marner, one-for-one.
And the user had pretty good reasoning, too. Panarin is older; Marner is younger. They both would've had 100+ points if Mitch hadn't gotten injured. The user also says that trading Panarin would open up the left wing spot for Alexis Lafrenaire, who desperately needs a break sooner rather than later.
There's been a lot of rumors surrounding both players, and it'll be interesting to see if both GM's pull the trigger.
