This was the first game of the series, as many lead changes occurred throughout the game, and both teams were able to create high-quality scoring chances.
However, multiple Rangers prospects who stood out Friday Night, one was Adam Edstrom.
Edstrom would take advantage of his size and score two goals on the Flyers, as he crashed the net.
Edstrom has seen 11 games of NHL action and has proven he deserves more looks in the league.
At 6'8" he'd use his size to dominate the offensive zone, and has proven to be another weapon the Rangers can utilize in the future.
Brennan Othmann is another Rangers prospect and he delivered beyond expectations.
He'd end the night with an assist, and the game-winning goal in the shootout.
The 21-year-old proved to be an adept puck handler, and smooth with the puck as a playmaker for the Rangers.
Brett Berard wouldn't be on the scoreboard but proved to be a playdriver that night. He would handle the puck during the power-play and impressed with bursts of speed.
Matthew Robertson proved to be a dominant and physical player in the defensive zone and was the most effective last night.
Dylan Garand had kept the Rangers alive during the game, making big saves throughout the night.
Garand proved he hasn't lost his touch since the AHL playoffs, and if he continues the Hartford Wolf Pack should be competitive again this year.
The Rangers should be a fun competitive team, as they close out the series against the Flyers on Saturday night.
