New York Rangers announce major roster transaction involving defensemen Ryan Lindgren

The New York Rangers have received some great news as they prepare to take on the Montreal Canadiens tonight.

The New York Rangers will get a break as 26-year old defenseman will return to the lineup after being placed on Injured Reserve.

Mollie Walker of the New York Post has confirmed that defenseman Ryan Lindgren will return to Rangers lineup after being placed on Injured reserve by the New York Rangers.

Ryan Lindgren is back in tonight for #NYR� vs. Montreal

Lindgren was placed on Injured Reserve after fighting Scott Mayfield during the Rangers second preseason game, has he suffered an unfortunate upper-body injury, which has sidelined for the remainder of training camp and the first 5 games of the regular season.

Along with that, reports have surfaced that Lindgren will be paired with Victor Mancini:
