The Rangers projected lineups for upcoming game against the Canadiens: Alexis Lafreniere out?
Another Original Six battle is set to take place as the New York Rangers prepare to face off against the Montreal Canadiens tonight at 7:15PM at Bell Centre Arena.
The Rangers and Canadiens will be facing off for the first time this season, and it will be a very interesting matchup. However, with that being said, Mollie Walker of The New York Post has released the projected Rangers lineups for tonight games against the Montreal Canadiens:
NYR lines at practice without Alexis Lafrenière⬇️
Kreider-Zibanejad-Smith
Panarin-Trocheck-Rempe
Cuylle-Chytil-Kakko
Edström-Carrick-Brodzinski
Miller-Fox
Schneider-Trouba
Lindgren-Mancini
Jones-Ruhwedel
It's important to notice that Walker stated that these lineups are without Alexis Lafreniere as he is listed day-to-day with an upper-body injury.
Alexis Lafrenière is not skating today, he is day-to-day with upper-body injury #NYR
At the moment there's no update on who will be the starting goalie for tonight's game but a very good chance it will be Igor Shesterkin.
Nothing has been released on the Rangers power play lines just yet, but it's safe to assume to that there probably won't be any changes and if that's the case, here's what the Rangers PP units will look like:
PP1- Kreider, Zibanejad, Trocheck, Panarin and Fox
PP2- Miller, Lafrenière, Chytil, Smith and Kakko
This could very well be the New York Rangers lineups for tonight's game against the Montreal Canadiens, however this is just a projection, nothing has been officially confirmed by the Rangers as of now.
