New York Rangers Atlantic Division rival officially abandons the NHL
New York Rangers rival officially abandons the National Hockey League and signs new contract overseas.
The Detroit Red Wings have been making a ton of moves this offseason, which has lead to a lot of players leaving the organization and playing elsewhere, and unfortunately another name has made that that list.
The 31-year old Michigan native, Austin Czarnik who had spent the last two years with the Detroit Red Wings organization.
Czarnik spent his time with the Red Wings organization between AHL and NHL and has just now officially signed a contract with SC�Bern of the Swiss National League.�
Czarnik played 34 games with the Red Wings last season, and only managed to tally a single assist on a goal by Alex DeBrincat, and but during his time with the Grand Rapids Griffins he tallied 28 points (10 goals, 18 assists).
He's also had a total of 205 NHL�contests that include multiple teams like the Calgary Flames, Boston Bruins, New York Islanders and Seattle Kraken, and has scored a total of 18 goals with 33 assists.�
