Rangers Igor Shesterkin summits controversial top NHL goalie list
Igor Shesterkin has been given a chance to rank head-to-head matchups of NHL goalies.
The list contained many goalies who could be the NHL's best, the top goalies consisted of Juuse Saros, Ilya Sorokin, Sergei Bobrovsky, and Andrei Vasilevskyi.
The match-ups placed the four against the rest of the other goalies considered the NHL's best:
Juuse Saros Or Tristan Jarry: Saros
Juuse Saros Or Marc-André Fleury: Saros
Juuse Saros Or Alexandar Georgiev: Saros
Juuse Saros Or Ilya Sorokin: Sorokin
Ilya Sorokin Or Stuart Skinner: Sorokin
Ilya Sorokin Or Jacob Markstrom: Sorokin
Ilya Sorokin Or Andrei Vasilevskiy: Vasilevskiy
Andrei Vasilevskiy Or Jordan Binnington: Vasilevskiy
Andrei Vasilevskiy Or Filip Gustavsson: Vasilevskiy
Andrei Vasilevskiy Or Pyotr Kochetkov: Vasilevskiy

Needless to say, he seems to be a fan of Juuse Saros, Bobrovsky, and Vasilevskyi pulling off the wins in the majority of these match-ups.
Which of course, the last, saw Bobrovsky and the Panthers easily defeat the Rangers in the Eastern Conference Finals, though if it wasn't for Shesterkin the Rangers would've been out long before then.
He is very humble, but game recognizes game and Ilya Sorokin gets a nod too, which of course is half the reason why the Islanders are usually relevant anymore.

We all know, it goes without being said when it comes to Vasilevskyi, he is one of the best in the NHL and has been for some time now.
Shesterkin has to save some room for himself though, he did step up his play in the NHL playoffs.
