New data proves just how bias Gary Bettman really is towards American teams
Gary Bettman gets called out for showing favouritism towards one team in the Metropolitan Division.
After a recent post on X, NHL fans now know the travel distance per NHL team for the upcoming 202425 NHL season.
However, fans are now calling out Gary Bettman and the schedule makers as the Pittsburgh Penguins find themselves at the bottom of the list.
The Penguins have gotten very lucky with only having to travel 31,700 miles this season, and not far off is the New York Rangers, who have to travel 35,300 miles.
But the reason why fans are upset is because the Dallas Stars have to travel at total of 56,700 miles, which is almost double the Pittsburgh Penguins.
The lack of travel distance this year for the Penguins will likely result in less fatigue giving them a major advantage.
