The New York Rangers have a completed a five player transaction after Tuesdays night preseason game.

The New York Rangers faced off against the New Jersey Devils on Monday, October 1st, for a preseason game where the Rangers took a 5-4 victory.

However this game has led the Rangers organization to make some tough decisions the following day that will ultimately shape their opening night roster.

New York Rangers President and General Manager Chris Drury has announced today that the team has assigned forward Anton Blidh, defensemen Casey Fitzgerald and Brandon Scanlin along with goaltenders Louis Domingue and Dylan Garand to the Rangers affiliate team, the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL).

After this decision by Chris Drury the New York Rangers now have 30 players remaining in Training Camp.
