Of course, to be expected, Sidney Crosby, Alex Ovechkin, and Connor McDavid made it onto the top 100 list. These three, of course, left 22 spots open for the taking.
While he didn't cut the Top 100 list, he did make it onto the Top 25, as former Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist made the Top 10 list, at #8.
He would be ranked behind former rival, New Jersey Devils netminder Martin Brodeur, who placed seventh. Brodeur's career with four Vezina Trophies and 691 NHL wins. He's the 2nd high-ranked NHL goalie on the list.
In his 12-year career with the Rangers, from 2005-2020 Lundqvist has a total of 459 wins, the Rangers winningest goalie, and sixth in the NHL. Hank secured his spot in the Hall of Fame in 2023, with a .918 save percentage and 2.43 GAA, ranking 12th in NHL history, and won a Vezina in 2011-2012, always in a Blueshirt.
Lundqvist was always a great post-season performer, with a .918 save percentage and 2.30 GAA in 130 playoff games, saw the team through some difficult post-season runs, and helped secure a spot in the Stanley Cup Finals during 2014 against the Los Angeles Kings.
