New York Rangers officially confirm lineups ahead of game 4
The New York Rangers will take on the Florida Panthers in Game 4 tonight, leading the series 2-1.
The Panthers and Rangers will again face off tonight at 8 PM tonight.
Coach Laviolette and the Rangers have released the lineups for Game 4, and despite all Rangers itching to play, Laviolette only has to play 12 forwards a game.
After being scratched for Game 2, Kaapo Kakko made an effort to keep himself relevant during Game 3, slotted beside Alex Wennberg.
Kakko has made a good enough impression post Game 3 performance that he will remain in the lineup during Game 4 tonight.
His production remains in question, as during a contract year his production has hit an all-time low under Laviolette, scoring 19 points( 13 G, 6 A) and as an RFA the Rangers need more out of him.
Line Combinations
The lineup combinations aren't any different than those posted on DailyFaceoff on May 26th:
Forwards
With Chris Kreider- LW, Mika Zibanejad- C, and Filip Chytil- RW, as your 1st liners. Your 2nd line consists of Artemi Panarin- LW, Vinnie Troecheck- C, and Alexis Lafreniere- RW. The Rangers 3rd line deployment is as follows, Jack Roslovic- LW, Alex Wennberg- C, and Kaapo Kakko- RW, while your 4th liners remain: Will Cuylle- LW, Barclay Goodrow- C, and Matt Rempe flanking Goodrow on the right RW.
Defensive pairs:
Ryan Lindgren(LD)- Adam Fox(RD) are the Rangers 1st pair, while K'Andre Miller(LD) and Captain Jacob Trouba(RD) are your 2nd pairing, while Erik Gustafsson(LD) and Braden Schneider(RD) are your bottom-pairing defense.
Goalies
Igor Shesterkin remains your starting goalie, while Jonathan Quick will slot in as back-up.
