The Rangers and Panthers will be facing off for the first time since the Florida Panthers eliminated the Rangers in game six of the Eastern Conference Finals, and took the title of the Eastern Conference Champions, along with the 2023-24 Stanley Cup Champions.
However, Rangers reporter Vince Z. Mercogliano has released the projected lineups for the New York Rangers earlier this morning:
With that being said it's important to acknowledge that the New York Rangers have just placed Chad Ruhwedel on waivers today, so we probably only see a rotation between Mancini and Jones now, unless someone gets injured.
After this morning practice, head coach Peter Laviolette had commented on the defensive pairings:
At the moment there's no update on who will be the starting goalie for tonight's game but a very good chance it will be Igor Shesterkin.
Along with nothing has been released on the Rangers power play lines, but it's safe to assume to that there probably won't be any changes any time soon, so here's what the Rangers PP units will look like:
This could very well be the New York Rangers lineups for tonight's game against the Stanley Cup Champions, the Florida Panthers. However, this is just a projection, nothing has been officially confirmed by the Rangers as of now.
