NHL Insider reveals the Rangers are open to all options as they're desperate to make changes
NHL Insider Elliotte Friedman reveals The New York Rangers are open to all options as they continue to spiral out of control and have no answers as to why.
The New York Rangers have already traded their captain and defenceman Jacob Trouba, but the team is no where done making moves as they desperately need more change.
Many believed that with the New York Rangers trading away Jacob Trouba it was would help the team, but unfortunately their struggles are only getting worse and more noticeable.
Leaving Rangers General Mangers Chris Drury open to all suggestions and offers as he's eager to shake up the team's roster even more.
«I think they are willing to consider all options. They want to hear what ideas people have. And they're listening to what could be out there for them.»
Leaving everyone with the same question, what kind of move can the New York Rangers even make at this time?
Several players including Chris Kreider, Kaapo Kakko and Ryan Lindgren have all been involved in trade rumors, but obviously nothing has materialized.
It still remains unclear what the trade market looks like for the New York Rangers veterans, but according to TSN's Darren Dreger the Rangers won't just give Kakko away for free as they are looking to get exactly what they want if they deal him.
The New York Rangers have lost nine out of their 12 games, so it's clear that the team needs to figure it out soon or major changes will be coming to the organization, whether it be coaching staff or players.
It's also important to note that the NHL has a roster freeze that will take place on December 20th as no trades or anything involving teams roster movements will be aloud until after the Christmas break.
