New York Rangers head coach Peter Laviolette clears the air and reveals why the Rangers assigned Brett Berard to the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League.
The New Rangers have recently made a shocking move by sending rookie forward Brett Berard down to the Hartford Wolf Pack and recalling Bo Groulx to the New York Rangers.
This roster transaction created a ton of confusion and questions from Rangers fans and many alike. However, here's what Peter Laviolette had to say on the matter:

Laviolette may have explained the reasoning behind giving Groulx a chance, but he never explained why Brett Berard was sent down to the Hartford Wolf Pack.
Brett Berard has been a very solid forward for the Rangers since joining the roster back in November and has given the team a much-needed spark.
