Peter Laviolette issues shocking statement towards Rod Brind'Amour
Last night the New York Rangers eliminated the Carolina Hurricanes in game six after making an insane comeback, with a final score of 5-3.
With doing so the Rangers will advance to the Eastern conference finals, where they'll face either the Boston Bruins or Florida Panthers.
After the game Rangers head coach, Peter Laviolette was faced with the press and answered all sorts of questions.
However, when asked about his history with Rod Brind'Amour who was his former captain, he didn't shy away from the question, as he gave a complete honest answer about their relationship and praised the work he's done with the Hurricanes.
"I have nothing but respect for Rod and the job that he's done here, and for the team as well."
Truly great to see two head coaches respect each other after a tough series.
