Podcaster Suggesting Failing Defense Linked To Kakko Being Out
The Rangers defense earlier in the season, which was considered their strongest aspect, has now become a liability.
Hitting their lowest point when they allowed a season high seven goals last night in the 7-3 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs.
The Liberty Blue Podcast has suggested the Rangers recent defensive struggles, could be attributed to Kaapo Kakko after he went down to injury. Take a listen:
Mika Zibanejad and Chris Kreider have played more defense since Kakko was pulled from their line and it's trickled down to the underlying impacts.
The Rangers have allowed 28 goals in the last seven games since Kakko went out with an injury.
