Rangers Defenseman Is Getting His Grove Back
The Rangers have managed to snag a nice comeback win today over the Nashville Predators. Trailing 2-0 and 3-1, only to win 4-3 in the end.
Adam Fox played a big part in that comeback! His first three point game of the season.
Fox has tallied his 10th career three-assist game
Since 2019-20, his 10 games with three assists are tied for the fourth most among NHL defensemen.
The only other defensemen with as many three-assist performances in Rangers history are Brian Leetch, Brad Park, Bill Gadsby, and James Patrick.
Today was only his second game since November 2nd.
He missed 10 games due to a lower-body injury with the team going a remarkable 7-2-1 in his absence, and maintain one of the best defenses in the league.
Defensively, Fox will still need to shake off some rust.
He hasn't played like the shut down defender we are use to seeing him as, but considering he missed nearly an entire month of games, it's not surprising.
His play will continue to get better as he plays more games.
It's just great to have him back on the team.
