Rangers Filip Chytil addresses the media and opens up for the first time since sustaining his injury
New York Rangers forward Filip Chytil finally opens up on his injury that sidelined him for seven straight games.
The New York Rangers faced off against the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday afternoon where the Rangers managed to put an end to their five-game losing streak.
As the Rangers took a 4-3 victory, thanks to a team effort and especially Kaapo Kakko who scored the game winning goal with 22 seconds left in the third period.
Head coach Peter Laviolette met with the media before the game and confirmed that both forwards, Chytil and Kreider would return to the lineup:
The 25-year old center has missed seven straight game after suffering an unidentified upper body injury.
After colliding with defensemen K'Andre Miller back in November 14th when the Rangers faced the San Jose Sharks.
But now, Filip Chytil has finally opened up about his injury and discussed how he felt returning to the Rangers lineup after being sidelined for seven game:

"It's not easy when you're feeling good out there and then you miss two weeks and you have to jump back. But I think every shift I was feeling better. Now, just need to keep going like that. I want to be healthy for the rest of the season."
He then continued by answering a few questions regarding the relief of him nit sustaining another head injury:
«I know myself. I know my head a lot. Nobody knows it more than myself. So when I felt it could be better and it was going well, it was nice.»
Now hopefully Filip Chytil can stay healthy for the remainder of the season and continue to play on top of his game for the New York Rangers.
