The Rangers organization have been working on preparing for game one of round two against the Carolina Hurricanes. Rangers head coach Peter Laviolette explains during a media scrum too Rangers reporter Jonnny Lazarus on how he will deploy his offence based on the defensive zone coverage he will face.

As both clubs had relatively easier first rounds, this playoff series will be far different as both teams are stacked with many talented players and systems that work quite well which will give both Rangers fans and Hurricanes fans a real treat to watch.

The Rangers took the regular season standings between both clubs as they went 2-1-0 in three games. As we know, regular season does not normally matter But it's safe to say that in these playoffs, both clubs rank in the top 10 in every metric from power play percentage through penalty kill percentage through goals for and goals against.

Both teams are even in their defence and especially their goaltending as Igor Shesterkin and Frederik Andersen will be evenly matched.

The show will begin on Sunday May 5th and both fan bases will need to wait on start time as it has yet to be decided and game one will be in Madison Square Gardens.
