Rangers reporter reveals Barclay Goodrow has already found a new team
The New York Rangers made a major decision by placing Barclay Goodrow on waivers.
Today, the Rangers shocked many fans when they placed veteran forward Barclay Goodrow on waivers with three years left on his current contract.
The Rangers have placed Barclay Goodrow on waivers
However, in a recent report from The New York Post, Mollie Walker shared that there just might have been an under-the-table agreement between the Rangers and Goodrow's former team, The San Jose Sharks.
"There is belief there is a pre-arranged deal for the Sharks to claim Goodrow, who spent the first six seasons of his NHL career in San Jose."
Goodrow played in 268 career games with the Sharks before being traded to the Tampa Bay Lightning. As the Sharks finished last in the NHL last year, they have first dibs on Goodrow and any player placed on waivers.
Only time will tell as we will now wait for 2 pm tomorrow to see if the Sharks claim him off waivers or not.
