With every team that wins the Stanley Cup, special teams are key to their success.

Whether it's a deadly penalty kill or a lethal power play, those advantages are what separate the great teams and second place.
The Rangers were flying high on their speciality teams especially on the power play early on this season.
But recently the squad has hit a power outage and cannot score a power play goal whatsoever.
The Rangers were on the ice last night against the Chicago Blackhawks one of the worst teams in the NHL.
This was a golden opportunity for the team to cash in on some power play time and get a few goals to set things right. The team power play drought continued.
It's becoming a concern for the Rangers coaching staff as they continued to scratch their heads and look for answers on how to get their power play back on track.
In their past five games they have not scored any power play goals and they have gone 4 for 31 since January 13th.
It's important to note that they are scoring five on five which is fantastic, however, it's imperative they begin to score on the power play especially with all the talent they have up front.
