Rangers Star Speaks On The Importance Of Shesterkin Getting The Win
One specific player did get a much needed win last night!
After watching the first two games following the All-Star break from the bench, Igor Shesterkin made 28 saves to snap a personal three-game slide in the Rangers 4-3 overtime win over the Chicago Blackhawks, while posting his first save percentage above .900 since Jan. 16, albeit it just barely at .903.
Mika Zibanejad speaks on getting a win last night for Igor Shesterkin:
"I think he played well tonight. We can do a better job of helping him out"
It was a group effort. Shesterkin was left to dry from the defense after that first goal he let through.
Hopefully just getting the win was good enough to get his confidence boosted!
