Rangers Top Stars Filled With Emotions At Presser After Huge Win
It only took Artemi Panarin 10 seconds into overtime to help the Rangers become the first team in NHL history to post a three-goal comeback win in an outdoor game against the Islanders.
Panarin tied his career-high in goals (32) when he scored the overtime winner.
He became the third player in Rangers history to score within the opening 10 seconds of an overtime period.
Check out the beauty here:
Mika Zibanejad along with Panarin describes the feelings that came from the overtime goal:
"Honestly I don't remember that goal very well at this point just because I got flooded with a wave of emotions and excitement, but I'm 80% sure that the puck crossed the line and it definitely was a goal."
Combining this with their seventh consecutive win and over a hated rival in from of what was a predominantly Rangers crowd, the emotions is very much warranted!
