A very impressive cast of players who have contributed greatly to their team's success.
But unfortunately, we feel someone is getting the wrong end of the stick with this, and it's Artemi Panarin.
It looked like they were going for the route of naming the three players with the highest points total.
However, they decided to go with Boston Bruins winger, David Pastnark, as the third star.
I know, people will bring up the plus-minus stat and tell me Pastnark is second in the league in that stat, but there were a stretch of back-to-back games where he didn't contribute a single point, mainly, the 3-1 win over the Anaheim Ducks on October 22nd, and the 3-0 shutout win over the Chicago Blackhawks on October 24th.
The team hasn't needed to lean on him to win games.
Panarin has contributed a point in every game for the Rangers for nine consecutive games, and with the team leaning more on him in the offense, I would have given him the edge.
Not to add to the fact, the Rangers have had a more difficult road with the travel to start the month. Hopefully Panarin will continue this pace and have better luck in next month's list.
