Rumor Of Expected Timeline For Fox Injury And Recall Announced
We are all waiting impatiently for the announcement of the injury status of Adam Fox and Filip Chytil, after last night 2-1 win over the Carolina Hurricanes.
Unfortunately, it looks like there will not be an official announcement today, as the team took today off to travel to Minnesota.
There is an unconfirmed update from Blueshirtsnation.com on X, that they are hearing Fox might be out for an extended period of time.
Three to four weeks, which if confirmed true, will put his return anywhere between the Rangers game against the Boston Bruins on November 25th, or the second matchup against the Nashville Predators, December 2nd.
Which means he can miss anywhere from 8-11 games.
The Rangers do have a six day rest period of no games between November 12-18, so it'll be less games missed with hopefully ample time to recover for him, and for the team.
As for Filip Chytil, there is also no update or word on his status as well. However the Rangers have recalled forward Jonny Brodzinski, from the Hartford Wolf Pack.
This will mean Chytil will miss time from the team. How long, is unsure of.
We will update more information, and on the recall from the Wolf Pack, when they are made available.
