Statement issued on Rangers star defenseman absence from the team

As the New York Rangers hit the ice for practice this morning, a notable figure was not seen out in the ice.

New York Rangers Defensemen Ryan Lindgren did not join the team for their morning practice, Leaving many fans concerned as to why he didn't show up.

With Ranger are gearing out to face the Florida Panthers in the Eastern Conference Finals, it's crucial to make sure everyone is 100 percent ready, as they face each other for Game 1 on Wednesday May 22nd.

However, NHL insider Dan Rosen confirmed Lindgren is out for this morning practice due to �maintenance'.

Back at NYR practice and Ryan Lindgren (maintenance) is not skating.

While Lindgren's performance throughout the playoffs hasn't been amazing with recording 0 goals and 1 assists in the 10 games played, he's still part of the Rangers crucial defensive core.

With his absence there's obviously been a few changes to the lineups at today's practice:
