We have a full slate of NHL games today.

All 32 teams will be playing each other to continue moving up the ladder for supremacy in their division! That's 16 games in one day, with each game starting between 15 to 45 minutes of each other.

I don't know if I agree with this scheduling imbalance, especially since yesterday we suffered with a lack of hockey games.

The lone game was the Montreal Canadiens against the Buffalo Sabres, and it'll happen again tomorrow, with only one game on the docket between the New Jersey Devils and the Washington Capitals.

Regardless, we have a packed day, and a lot of hockey to drown ourselves with!

The Rangers are looking to grab their first set of back-to-back victories after alternating wins and losses in the first 5 games of the season.

They last played Saturday when they beat the Seattle Kraken 4-1, in their dimly lit arena, Climate Pledge Arena.

They will, however, have their hands full tonight as they will be playing against the Calgary Flames, a team they haven't beaten in their home floor in quite some time.

The Rangers since 2018 are 0-4 in Scotiabank Saddledome.

Their last win there came on March 2nd, 2018, with a 50-save performance by Henrik Lundqvist.

Both these teams are vastly different, and the Rangers will not be discouraged after their bounce back win this past weekend.

They have all the tools they need to build on their last victory. Let's see them use it.
