The worst has been confirmed for New York Rangers forward was forced to exit the game early after suffering an unfortunate injury.

It was just confirmed by the New York Rangers PR team that forward Adam Edstrom will be sidelined for the remainder of the game due to suffering a lower-body injury.
UPDATE: Adam Edstrom (lower body) will not return tonight.

Edstrom exited after second shift of second period, will not return (lower body) per NYR
Based purely off speculation it seems like Edstrom has suffered this injury after being tied up with Boston Bruins defenseman Nikita Zadorov.
Here's a video of the incident If you missed it:
Definitely a huge loss for the New York Rangers tonight, as Edstrom has been a solid player for the fourth line. Within 50 games played this season with the Rangers Edstrom has managed to tally 5 goals and 4 assists for a total of 9 points while averaging 9:12 of ice time.
Unfortunately the New York Rangers have lost 6-3 to the Boston Bruins tonight, but on a positive note J.T. Miller seems to be comfortable being back with the Rangers as he tallied two games during his re-debut.
WELCOME BACK, J.T. MILLER!

He scores to tie the game at 1!
J.T. Miller has two goals in his Rangers return
Hopefully the New York Rangers will see some better results on Sunday night as they face off against the Vegas Golden Knights at 6:00 PM.
