Toronto Maple Leafs forward faces injury at IIHF World Championship
Although the Toronto Maple Leafs are no longer playing meaningful hockey, one of their players have received some pitiful news.
Insider Stephen Ellis has been covering the IIHF World Championships and released unfortunate info that Maple Leafs forward David Kampf wouldn't not be dressed for Czechia's game against Finland.
Not much info was released on why Kampf was pulled from the game, but eventually reports cleared the air and revealed Kampf was dealing with some sort of injury.
Kampf's injury is not expected to have an impact on next year's regular season, but as of now there still isn't any details on what happened, or how long he's expected to miss.
