Utah HC general manager leaked the official name of the organization
The Utah Hockey Club general manager has just leaked the officially team name
During a busy night at the 2024 NHL Draft, Utah Hockey Club general manager, Bill Armstrong was faced with the media, and he may have accidentally leaked that the team name will be the Utah Yeti'.
»That's when we knew he was gonna be a Utah Yeti I think. I'm not allowed to pick the name but I think the little kids in Utah vote about 25 times a day so I think they got it.»
While the name is not officially confirmed or released by the ownership group yet, as his answer was just out of excitement knowing they would land Tij Iginla early in the draft.
However, with Bill Armstrong saying Yeti' instead of all the other possible names, it's definitely going to make fans believe that the organization will be named the Utah Yeits' in the near future.
As the 2024-25 NHL season gets closer it will be interesting to see what other moves the Utah Hockey Club will make before the season begins.
