Head coach of the Vancouver Canucks, Rick Tocchet has just shared an unfortunate injury update.

After a brutal 5-1 Loss against the Edmonton Oilers in game six on Saturday night, Tocchet addressed the media and revealed some discouraging news as they head into game 7.
According to Rich Tocchet, the Canucks will head into game seven without their star goalie Thatcher Demko, as he's missed the entire second round of the playoffs following a significant injury. Demko last appeared with Canucks on April 21st against the Nashville Predators.
Rick Tocchet says Thatcher Demko is not going to play Game 7 for #Canucks.
The Canucks third string goalie, Arturs Silovs has put up an amazing performance throughout the second round, but after a tough loss in game six it's hard to imagine Tocchet will feel confident playing him in game seven. Within game six, Silovs allowed five goals on 27 shots leaving him with a .815 save percentage.
As the Canucks and Oilers look to eliminate each other in game seven on Monday, Tocchet is left with some tough decisions as he doesn't have many options.
