Unfortunately
Artemi Panarin wasn't given much consideration for being a finalist. He finished fourth in scoring with an NHL career-high 120 points, second most in Rangers history. He scored 49 goals, blowing away his previous high of 32, and also had a career-best 11 power-play goals and 44 power-play points. He also led a team, that dealt with considerable injuries throughout the season, to winning the President Trophy for the best regular season record.
