With the Rangers poised to take the metro division, one Eastern Conference team according to the Spittin chiclets is a team that no one should take lightly or sleep on.
That team happens to be the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Recently, during one of their episodes the boys explained how Tampa would be one of the more underrated playoff teams in terms of how they have played this year.
Even though the Tampa Bay Lightning have taken a few steps down as their core has aged, this group is certainly capable of going on a long playoff run as their core has remained intact.
One of the factors that will be always a question mark now with the lightning is their goaltending as the once unstoppable Andrei Vasilevskiy has looked more ordinary as time has worn on.
Sitting currently sit in the first wild card position in the east with 85 points through 71 games.
Their record of 39-25-7 has been a good season even though the team has looked average.
Teams like the Rangers will certainly not take them lightly if it's possible they may meet each other in the conference final.
But I do feel the Rangers would be able to take the Lightning out.
