It has been a brutal couple of weeks to be an Ottawa Senators fan.

The suspension of Shane Pinto for sports gambling, the forfeiture of a first round pick, the firing of general manager Pierre Dorion, plus the team is in last place in the Atlantic Division; there hasn't been a light at the end of the tunnel.

Unfortunately, it might look bleaker if you're Senators owner, Michael Andlauer.

Andlauer, during a media presser, expressed some frustration about the NHL not advising him on the complete details of the Dadonov or Pinto investigations, before he closed on the purchase of the team this past September.

He also suggested the NHL with hypocrisy after the Pinto suspension, in a league where gambling advertisements are everywhere.

A freelance reporter, Ken Campbell, on X, believes Andlauer, will be walking back all the comments he made yesterday, primarily because of NHL commissioner, Gary Bettman, who he called, "vengeful and vindictive".

Bettman has been very controversial and unpopular with the NHL fanbase during his time as commissioner.

Stemming from expanding the league into non-traditional hockey markets, as well as being the central figure of three labor stoppages, including the 200405 NHL lockout that saw the entire season canceled.

Only time will tell, if what Campbell said is true, and if Andlauer will walk back his comments.
