The New York Rangers have received troubling news regarding defenseman Ryan Lindgren, as he missed practice today.

Ahead of the Winnipeg Jets game, the New York Rangers have learned that Lindgren may not be available for the game, since he missed practice today.

Ryan Lindgren is out today for maintenance reasons #NYR

News like this is not always bad, however considering Ryan Lindgren has just suffered a nasty injury on his jaw that required him to have surgery, and wear a full face shield since returning.

Lindgren has always been a key contributor to the Rangers as he was part of the same team who won the President's Trophy in 2023-2024, as the best team in the National Hockey League.

While Lindgren is off for Maintenance today, rookie defenseman Victor Mancini has filled his spot, but it appears that Lindgren will hopefully be with the Rangers lineup for their game against the Jets on Tuesday.

D pairs to start practice are:

Mancini - Fox
Miller - Trouba
Jones - Schneider

Looks like no changes, with Mancini placeholding for Lindgren #NYR

In 2023-2024, Lindgren played 76 games with the Rangers and managed to tally 17 points (14 goals, and 3 goals)

For the 2024-25 season the 26-year old defenseman has only played in 8 out of the 13 games due to his jaw injury.

Hopefully Lindgren will return to full by Tuesday nights game against the Winnipeg Jets as missing a key defenseman before playing one of the best teams in the league right now is now ideal.
