First shot of Marc Staal as the Rangers Player Development Coach surfaces and we have it
Rookie camp has begun for the Rangers, and we will see many new faces there.
One of them is former Rangers defenseman Marc Staal, who had recently hung up his skates.
He has joined the Rangers as an assistant development coach and has gotten to work right away to help build the future New York Rangers team.
Staal spent 13 years of his career with the New York Rangers and has 1,136 games of NHL experience to draw from.
He looks ready to impart the wisdom of 17 years on NHL ice, and prospects like Victor Mancini and Noah Van Vliet should empty their cups, ready to drink the wisdom bestowed upon them.
Staal has played 107 Stanley Cup Playoff games and is third among Rangers.
He will work with defensemen in the organization.
