Trusted NHL insider Frank Seravalli has listed a shocking New York Rangers player as a top trade candidate.

Since the drama with the New York Rangers from earlier in the season has passed after trading captain Jacob Trouba, the Rangers have done a complete 180 with their season.
At one point, the Rangers were one of the bottom teams in the Metropolitan Division, but now sit 6th, and only 5 points out of a playoff spot with games in hand on both the wildcard spot holders.
Recently the New York Rangers have gone out and acquired former Ranger in J.T. Miller and he has already made an impact for the Rangers.
In his first game he scored two goals in a loss to the Boston Bruins, and then went on to pick up another 2 assists in his second game with the Rangers in a big win against the Vegas Golden Knights.

Now there is a lot of speculation that the New York Rangers are set to make another trade, with a surprising player.
According to Frank Seravalli, he has New York Rangers defenseman Ryan Lindgren listed as the 6th top trade candidate as we inch closer to the NHL trade deadline.
Take a look:
Brock Nelson, New York Islanders
Brandon Tanev, Seattle Kraken
Rasmus Ristolainen, Philadelphia Flyers
Bowen Byram, Buffalo Sabres
Casey Mittelstadt, Colorado Avalanche
Ryan Lindgren, New York Rangers
Dylan Cozens, Buffalo Sabres
Seth Jones, Chicago Blackhawks
Oliver Björkstrand, Seattle Kraken
Jamie Oleksiak, Seattle Kraken

Ryan Lindgren has stated that he doesn't want to get traded by the Rangers, but at the end of the day, the NHL is a business and the team is going to do what it feels is best come the NHL trade deadline.
This season Lindgren has appeared in 47 for the New York Rangers and has recorded two goals, and 11 assists for 13 points this season.
It will be interesting to see what New York Rangers GM Chris Drury ends up doing at the NHL trade deadline.
