Former NHL Player Gives Rangers Rookie Some Sage Advice
Matt Rempe has gotten in multiple fights already.
In just five NHL games to date, he's dropped the gloves with Matt Martin (Islanders), Nicolas Deslauriers (Flyers) and Mathieu Olivier (Blue Jackets).
Against Olivier in the 4-2 loss against the Blue Jackets, Rempe was a little disoriented after his fight and can claim his first loss.
However to be fair, it was a back-to-back game when he had a full battle with Deslauriers a day prior.
Former NHL enforcer John Scott, who played 286 NHL games over eight seasons with seven teams, including six games with the Rangers in 2011-12, has some fighting advice for Rempe, take a listen:
Scott also posts on social media, hinting at offering to train Rempe.
It'll be curious to see if the challenges of Rempe will continue. Let's hope he takes heed of Scott's advice.
