Former Rangers GM Confirming Expected Timetable For Adam Fox
Former Rangers general manager and now on-air analyst for the NHL network, Neil Smith, has offered a similar timetable of how long defenseman Adam Fox, will be out due to a lower body injury.
We have already heard from another source earlier that they have heard it might be 3-4 weeks until Fox returns.
Smith gives a similar timetable for a return for Fox.
As we continue to hear more word from other sources, we are getting consistent information with the expected return for Fox can be anywhere between 2-4 weeks.
Unfortunately it's looking like we won't hear official confirmation from the Rangers directly today, as they have headed to Minnesota for tomorrow night's match-up against the Minnesota Wild.
We will continue to update any information as it becomes available.
Neil Smith was general manager for the New York Rangers from 1989-2000.
He was instrumental for orchestrating a blockbuster trade for superstar Mark Messier in 1991, and in 1994, the Rangers won their long-awaited fourth Stanley Cup championship with the team Smith had organized.
