Igor Shesterkin is trending following inappropriate comments towards officials
New York Rangers goalie Igor Shesterkin voiced his opinion to the referees after a tough OT loss to the Florida Panthers in Game 4 of the ECF.
Throughout the 2023-24 Stanley Cup Playoff there has always been an issue with the referees but during Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals it seems to have gotten worse.
Now with that being said it definitely goes both ways, the amount of missed calls from the officials is getting ridiculous.
All night the Panthers were crashing into Shesterkin and taking cheap shots on him after the whistle and nothing got called. However, Rangers starting goalie Igor Shesterkin had no problem with letting the Officials know this after facing a tough OT loss.
Now we're not entirely sure this is what he said to the officials, but it seems to be «hey ref do your f**king job, a**hole». Then again he doesn't speak English so who knows if that's what he really said.
The Rangers and Panthers series is officially tied 2-2 as they head into game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals that will be at MSG at 8:00pm.
