Igor Shesterkin has been in the New York Rangers system, since 2019-2020 and has in a short period of time, experienced a good amount of playoff hockey.

He has played in the playoffs, from 2019-2020 and every year until this year which should tell you, Shesterskin isn't afraid of playoff hockey.

This season is no different, as he is locked in and focused on winning, but instead of pressuring himself and taking himself out of the game, he keeps it simple:
Igor Shesterkin said his main focus in these playoffs has just been enjoying himself.
@drosennhl
asked if it's enjoyable when he's under the kind of pressure he was last night with all those shots and attempts from FLA. Igor just smiled and said, «I think so.» #NYR
It's only recently that the New York Rangers and Florida Panthers have ignited a new rivalry in the playoffs, as the teams have played stifling and brutal hockey.
The Rangers finally pulled ahead of the Cats, 5-4 in OT during Game 3.
The Panthers have bought in and of course, the Rangers need buy-in including Shesty, whose comments remain humble and all about enjoying the game.
Which shows in his playoff performances over the past four seasons:
His 41-game playoff career with the New York Rangers has led to incredible stats, as he has a 23-17-0 record, 2.41 GAA, and a .927 save percentage.

What The Tkachuk

Also, a funny footnote about playoff hockey, it's about chirping the opposition, getting in their heads, denying them space, and scoring goals in clutch moments.
Shesterkin is Teflon as he was asked about Tkachuk's chirps and this was his response:
Igor Shesterkin on if he likes the back and forth when a player like Matthew Tkachuk tries to yap at him during the game, after a save, after a period:

"I'm lucky because I don't speak English."

He said that, of course, in English.
If you're Russian and speak limited English, it does seem like the best response is no response at all.
