Paul Maurice facing fine after comments on Rangers Jacob Trouba
Florida Panthers head coach Paul Maurice faces punishment from the NHL after recent comments on Jacob Trouba.
Today the NHL announced that New York Rangers captain Jacob Trouba would be fined $5000 for elbowing Panthers Evan Rodrigues.
NY Rangers' Jacob Trouba has been fined $5,000, the maximum allowable under the CBA, for elbowing Florida's Evan Rodrigues.
However, Panthers head coach Paul Maurice is known for speaking his mind when faced with the media, unfortunately for him he will now be fined by the NHL for commenting on Trouba's punishment.
