New York Rangers captain has officially been punished by the NHL Player Safety
New York Rangers captain Jacob Trouba has officially been punished by the NHL player safety.
Trouba has always been surrounded by controversy throughout the season with the Rangers for his �high elbows'. However during game 3 of the eastern conference finals Trouba delivered a headshot on Evan Rodrigues.
During the game he had only received a two minute minor:
Unfortunately for Jacob Trouba this hit was reviewed by the NHL Department of Player Safety today and they have reached a verdict on his punishment.
An official announcement from the NHL Player Safety has revealed Trouba will be fined $5000, the maximum allowable under CBA.
NY Rangers' Jacob Trouba has been fined $5,000, the maximum allowable under the CBA, for elbowing Florida's Evan Rodrigues.
