Jimmy Vesey reveals brutal injury that sidelined him during Conference Finals
As the New York Rangers faced the Florida Panthers during the Eastern Conference Finals, they suffered a significant loss during game 2 of the series.
During the game Rangers forward Jimmy Vesey suffered an injury after taking a hit from Panthers Ryan Lomberg.
After taking this brutal hit he never returned to the ice and was later listed as week-to-week with an upper-body injury. While the 31-year-old forward returned to practice prior to the Rangers elimination, but was unable to play another game for New York Rangers.
However, when Jimmy Vesey was questioned by the media today regarding his injury he gave an honest answer, and explained it was because he separated his shoulder.
